“ Tres Amigos is a local favorite in Half Moon Bay since 1985. Order at the counter, take your number to your table and they will bring your food to you. Self serve for chips and salsas. The Steak Fajita Salad was served in a flour tortilla bowl with black beans, red bell pepper, red onions and Cotija cheese in a light vinaigrette dressing. Tres Amigos is great for dine in or take out and head to a nearby beach. ”
“ Wow. I am surprised by the low ratings! I really liked this place. We came on a Friday afternoon. There seemed to be a mix of people, like locals and regulars, or workers on their lunch break. The restaurant had customers, but there were no lines and we were able to order and get our food quickly. I liked that the horchata was well-priced. I ordered fish tacos - and they were pretty good. They weren't the standard So-Cal type with that weird orange sauce and deep fried white fish - these are way better. The servings were large - a lot of rice and beans at our table. I liked that there was a chip bar and you can help yourself to all the condiments (and chips). The service was pretty good - they brought the food to our table and I liked the chill ambiance. The bathrooms were clean and there is a small parking lot in front of the restaurant. You could also walk from the beach to the restaurant. I would definitely come back here and recommend this place to family and friends. ”
“ I came here for dinner with my date. The space was clean but not what I expected. Seemed larger from the outside but it had plenty of room. We ordered a shrimp taco and a burrito bowl. My date liked her taco. My burrito bowl was good, full of flavor, and filling. The salsa was a bit on the spicy side, but once I mixed it in it was fine. The customer service was good also. ”
